Sales & pre-order terms
Last updated: 24 September 2026. These terms apply when you purchase or pre-order products from DOCKER BIKES PTY LTD (ABN 72 701 866 720) via dockerbikes.com.au. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) rights apply in addition to these terms and cannot be excluded where the law says so.

Contract
2. When a contract forms
A binding contract forms when you complete checkout and we (or our payment provider) confirm payment for the order. Product pages and pricing are invitations to treat; we may decline or cancel an order if there is an obvious pricing or stock error, payment failure, or suspected fraud — in which case we refund amounts paid for that order.
Products
3. Products & early bird
Early-bird pricing on the first container applies for the published early-bird window on dockerbikes.com.au (web exclusive). Duo and Docker+ pricing are as shown at checkout.
Colours, specifications, and accessories are as selected at purchase. Minor production variances that do not affect safety or substantial character may occur.
Payment
4. Price & payment
Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise at checkout. You pay in full at reservation / purchase — no deposit scheme unless we explicitly offer one later.
Payment is processed by Stripe. Card and wallet methods shown at checkout may vary. Title to goods passes on delivery or collection; risk passes on delivery or when you (or your agent) collect.
Delivery
5. Delivery & pickup
Estimated first-container delivery: First deliveries from late October 2026. Founder / second-container timing is stated separately on the Site when applicable.
Estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates. Delays can occur (shipping, customs, manufacturing). If a delay is material, we will email you with an update. Where the ACL gives you a right to cancel or a remedy for failure to supply within a reasonable time, those rights apply.
Pickup (where offered) is from our nominated WA stockist or location stated at checkout. You must bring ID matching the order name when collecting an assembled bike.
Docker+
6. Docker+ — off-road use
Docker+ is an optional higher-power configuration intended for off-road use on private property or other locations where that configuration may lawfully be used.
A Docker Bike fitted with or operated in a Docker+ configuration may not comply with the requirements applicable to power-assisted bicycles on public roads, bicycle paths or shared paths.
You must not use a Docker+ configuration on a public road or path where that configuration is not lawful. It is the rider's responsibility to understand and comply with the laws and regulations applicable in the place where the bike is used.
By purchasing Docker+, you acknowledge that you have been informed of these restrictions and agree to use the product only where its use is lawful.
Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Cancel
7. Pre-order cancellation
You may cancel your pre-order for a full refund at any time before your bike is dispatched or made available for collection.
Once your bike has been dispatched or made available for collection, change-of-mind cancellations are not automatically available unless otherwise agreed by Docker Bikes.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Defective goods and ACL consumer guarantees are separate — see section 9.
Our cancel
8. Our cancellation
We may cancel an order before dispatch if the product cannot reasonably be supplied (for example manufacturing stoppage) or due to an obvious error. We will refund amounts paid for the cancelled order.
ACL
9. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures, you are entitled to a replacement or refund and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies those guarantees.
Warranty
10. Warranty & service
Manufacturer / Docker warranty coverage (duration and scope) will be confirmed in writing at or before delivery and registered via My Docker or as we direct. ACL rights apply whether or not a voluntary warranty is offered.
Authorised service and warranty claims may be handled via our WA stockist network or as directed by Docker Bikes.
Liability
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for a claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except for liability that cannot be limited under the ACL (including for personal injury caused by our negligence where the law prohibits limitation).
Privacy
12. Privacy
We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Checkout requires accurate contact and delivery details so we can fulfil your order.
Law
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. Disputes may be brought in Western Australian courts (non-exclusive jurisdiction), without limiting ACL forum rights where applicable.
